We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant / Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team. This role is for a meticulous and detail-oriented specialist who wants to grow in accounting, financial accounting, and operational finance processes.
Responsibilities
- Work with primary documents: invoices, acts, delivery notes, and other supporting documents.
- Issue invoices to clients/counterparties and support the invoicing process.
- Control accounts receivable and accounts payable: maintain registers, track payment statuses, highlight overdue items.
- Participate in month-end close: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and necessary data for month closing.
- Support tax compliance processes at an operational level: collect documents, verify data, assist with preparing information for tax tasks.
- Maintain order in accounting files, spreadsheets, and internal finance registers.
What's important to us
- Proficient in Excel: formulas, pivot tables, basic analytics.
- Understanding of accounting and financial accounting basics: double-entry bookkeeping, AR/AP, primary documents.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers.
- Willingness to work with routine and cyclical tasks: reconciliations, registers, document flow, month closing.
- English language proficiency from B1: reading documents, basic correspondence, communication on work-related matters.
Will be a plus
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, AP/AR, or a similar role.
- Experience with accounting systems: 1C, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
- Confident work with Google Sheets.
- Relevant education in accounting, finance, or economics.
We are also open to considering motivated newcomers after university or specialized courses, if they have a good accounting foundation and strong attention to detail.
