Java Backend Developer (Middle / Strong Middle)

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer (Middle / Strong Middle) to join the e-MFinance Digitalization Department team ✅ Work format: office, 5/2 permanent work, employment contract ✅ Schedule: 08:30 - 18:00 ✅ Location: Astana ‼️ No remote work (for those in other countries and cities - the salary range does not change in case of relocation) Responsibilities: • Development and support of the backend part of information systems • Implementation of business logic, REST API and integrations • Working with PostgreSQL and optimizing SQL queries • Participation in the design of architecture and microservice solutions • Integration with external services and APIs • Code review, testing, and support of production systems Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of commercial Java development experience • Solid knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, SQL, REST, PostgreSQL • Understanding of OOP, DB transactions, data structures • Understanding of modular and microservice architecture Bonus points: • Kafka • Kubernetes • Java Virtual Threads We offer: 💰 Salary: 730,000 - 1,000,000 tenge + Quarterly bonuses + Leave allowance 📈 And work on large-scale government digital projects
