We at Lamoda are looking for new people 🚀

We are actively implementing GenAI here – and this is not about "let's make an agent with ChatGPT". We are building infrastructure, agents, and products that must work reliably and change how development, support, and data management are structured within the company. Sounds ambitious, I agree!

We have successfully released the first agents, gathered pilots, defended new cases, and now we need to strengthen our team. We are looking for people with whom we will do all this.

I've gathered the main points for three areas – perhaps something will resonate with someone.

Data Science — about agents and LLMs We already have agents that work in support, communicate with users, solve some issues themselves, and sometimes transfer them to a human. However, there is room to improve retrieval, add work with attachments and tools, build an evaluation system around this (LLM-as-Judge, dialogue simulations, datasets), and think about memory and architecture. If you first build quality evaluation and then the product, love OpenAI Agents SDK, and generally strive to make the agent behave predictably – we are on the same path.

Infrastructure — reliability and platform This is a purely engineering story. We are inferring LLMs (yes, and not just one) in our environments. A requirement for an AI Gateway to manage access to models, routing, and costs. A platform for inference (vLLM, TGI), RAG platform with vector indexes, Agent Runtime, CI/CD for all of this. Plus – security, monitoring, observability, to understand what is happening within the agents. In general, if you enjoy making AI services as reliable as regular backend services, and at the same time not costing a fortune – we are waiting for you.

Product — AI Product Manager with a technical background The focus here is on internal tools: code assistants, code generation, integrations with corporate data. It is necessary to formulate a strategy, understand what will actually bring value to engineers, and what is just hype. Following the classics, collect hypotheses, test them, manage the roadmap, and be the link between teams.

Honestly, we are looking for not just specialists, but those who are themselves passionate about such tasks. We have a cool team, a lot of freedom, and a desire to build an AI direction that we can be proud of.
