We are looking for a Senior C Developer for a leading Russian company specializing in the development of information security and cryptography solutions. The team develops a flagship product – a high-performance remote access gateway based on the IPsec protocol. This solution is used in critical infrastructure and imposes extremely high demands on performance and reliability:

• throughput in VPN server mode – up to 10 Gb/s;
• support for up to 45,000 simultaneous authenticated connections;
• processing up to 12,000 new connections per second.

We are working on the product as part of a mature engineering team that values deep system knowledge and a responsible approach to development, and we invite an experienced developer ready to take on key tasks for our product's evolution.

Your responsibilities will include: 🔸developing high-performance network software for various platforms and operating systems; 🔸participating in the full product development cycle: from architectural design to implementation, testing, and code review; 🔸modernizing the build, testing infrastructure, and development tools; 🔸developing autotests to ensure quality at all stages; 🔸maintaining documentation in collaboration with a dedicated technical writer (main focus on technical solutions).

Candidate expectations: We are considering specialists who have: 🔸practical experience in developing network applications, including high-load ones; 🔸previous experience and interest in creating software in C, particularly drivers; 🔸an understanding of network security methods and tools; 🔸knowledge and practical experience with IPC mechanisms, multithreading primitives, and inter-process communication; 🔸an understanding of OOP; 🔸a desire to work with DPDK/F-Stack/IPsec/Linux kernel/FreeBSD kernel/user-space network stack.

Additional skills (will be a plus): 🔸experience with network protocols, including cryptographic ones (TLS, IPsec, DTLS, QUIC); 🔸development for aarch64, RISC-V architectures.

Working conditions: 🔸monthly income up to 450,000 ₽ net (after tax); 🔸annual bonus of 1–2 salaries based on performance; 🔸employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, full-time; 🔸the company has IT accreditation, which provides additional benefits; 🔸a 3-month probation period – working in the office in Moscow (m.
