We expect from the candidate:

Technical Stack

• 5+ years with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis.
• You design distributed systems – you understand when to break down into microservices and when it's unnecessary complexity, where a cache is needed, and where it will create more problems than it solves.
• You know how to design for horizontal scalability and not turn the database into a bottleneck.
• Experience with observability: metrics, tracing, logging, ELK stack.
• Fluent in Russian – we have a Russian-speaking team.

AI-First Approach to Development

We are not just looking for a developer who has "heard of ChatGPT" – we need someone who is genuinely convinced that AI is changing how code is written and actively builds their workflow around this belief.

• You use AI tools in your daily work: Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, and similar tools.
• You apply AI to automate code writing, accelerate code review, and improve code quality.
• Experimenting with AI in personal or pet projects will be a big plus.
• You understand the limitations of AI tools and apply them where they truly deliver results.

Security

• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and the ability to prevent common vulnerabilities at the code level.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms: JWT, RBAC.
• Experience with SAST tools: Bandit, Semgrep, SonarQube, or similar.
• Understanding the security risks associated with using AI tools.

Responsibility and Ownership

It's important for us that you treat tasks as your own – not as someone else's technical specification that needs to be mechanically executed. We value when a developer sees a task more broadly than their own code area: notices a potential problem, raises it, proposes a solution – even if it's formally "not their area of responsibility."

• Initiative: readiness to take on tasks and bring them to completion.
• Proactivity: independently raising issues that affect the product or team.
• Willingness to think about the consequences of your decisions, not just about complying with the technical specification.

You know how to transfer not only knowledge but also an approach to thinking: how to decompose a task, how to think about the consequences of decisions, how to not be afraid to take responsibility.
