Python Backend Developer (Middle/Middle+)

Company: Fintech product company (not a bank)
Format: Remote or hybrid (office in Moscow/St. Petersburg — optional)
Salary: 250,000 – 350,000 ₽ net
What you will be doing:
- Developing the main product — a high-load platform for B2B clients.
- Working in a small autonomous team of 5–7 people. Designing and developing new services in Python (FastAPI), participating in architectural decision-making.
- Integrating with external APIs and internal microservices. Writing clear, tested code and participating in code reviews — no bureaucracy and no "we've always done it this way."
Tech stack: Python 3.12+, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes. A plus would be: experience with Go or basic understanding of ML pipelines — but not required.
What's important for us:
- Commercial experience in backend development with Python of at least 2 years. Understanding REST API design principles and microservices architecture.
- Ability to work with relational databases (writing meaningful SQL queries, not just through ORM).
- Experience working with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Desire to understand the product, not just close tickets.

- Relevant higher education.
- Knowledge of 15 frameworks.
- Experience in a "large product company."
- Certificates.
