We are looking for an engineer who will work directly with the client's team: dive into the processes of a specific department, identify tasks where technology and AI can have a noticeable impact.
You will independently design, develop, and implement solutions. The first projects involve financial departments of large companies, so experience with business processes, data, and internal systems is especially valuable.
Responsibilities
- Dive into the processes, data, and business logic of the client's department.
- Communicate with clients and users, clarify needs, and formulate technical solutions.
- Quickly design, develop, and implement small AI and software solutions: agents, automations, integrations, internal services.
- Work with APIs, databases, and client's internal systems.
- Independently implement MVP solutions.
- Use LLM, RAG, tool calling, MCP, and AI coding tools where justified by the task.
- Test the solution with users and refine it based on feedback.
- Identify repeatable scenarios and solutions that can be scaled to other processes and projects.
Requirements
- Experience working with clients, business users, or internal stakeholders: discovery, requirements gathering, process analysis, solution consulting, analytics, or a similar format.
- Ability to ask questions, quickly immerse yourself in an unfamiliar process, and identify the real problem behind the initial request.
- Strong engineering foundation: backend or fullstack development.
- Commercial development experience in Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, or another modern language for at least 3 years.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, databases, and application architecture.
- Experience with actually implemented AI/LLM or automation solutions used by employees or clients.
- Practical experience with AI agents, RAG, tool calling, or LLM-based integrations.
- Ability to independently go from a conversation with a user to a working solution.
Will be a plus
- Experience in the role of business/system analyst, solution engineer, technical consultant, or presale engineer.
- AI Security: protection against prompt injection, data de-identification
- Docker, CI/CD, cloud.
- Experience launching pilots and MVPs for external clients.
- Experience working with financial departments.
