System Analyst
We are looking for a System Analyst who works with a task from communicating with the business customer and elaborating the solution to implementation, testing, and demonstrating the result. We are recruiting for a large company in the financial sector.
The specialist will be considered for two product teams simultaneously. Technical interviews may discuss tasks from both areas, after which the most suitable project will be determined.
- Format: remote for regions of the Russian Federation / hybrid for Moscow
- Schedule: 09:30–18:30 Moscow time
- Location/Citizenship: Russian Federation only
- Time zone: work according to Moscow time

- Depending on the team, you will work with the following technologies: REST API, SOAP, Kafka, Oracle, MS SQL
- Backend: Java / Spring, C# / .NET
- Frontend: React
- Salary: from 250,000 (Labor Code or individual entrepreneur)
Responsibilities:
- Collect, systematize, and formalize requirements from business customers.
- Elaborate functional and non-functional requirements.
- Model business processes and user scenarios.
- Design integrations between internal and external systems.
- Develop implementation options in collaboration with the development team.
- Formulate specifications and technical tasks for developers.
- Design APIs and describe system interactions.
- Work with relational databases and write SQL queries.
- Prepare project documentation, instructions, and a knowledge base.
- Independently verify implemented functionality.
- Conduct demonstrations for business customers.
- Support tasks from business idea generation to launch
Key Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a system analyst (AFTER graduation from university)
- Experience in direct communication with business customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to independently collect and formalize requirements.
- Knowledge of BPMN and UML.
- Experience in describing functional, non-functional, and user requirements.
- Experience in integration design.
- Solid understanding of REST API.
- Experience with message brokers, preferably Kafka.
- Understanding of SOAP principles is a plus.
- Proficient in SQL: JOIN of multiple tables, grouping and sorting, understanding of relational database structure, understanding the impact of queries on database load.
- Experience in assigning tasks to developers.
- Participation in discussions and selection of technical solutions with the team.
- Ability to independently test implemented functionality.
- Ability to quickly get up to speed with new processes.
Especially Valued:
- Experience in the investment, banking, or brokerage domain.
- Experience with highly integrated internal systems.
- Experience with CRM systems, including Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with integrations with state and external information systems.
- Ability to read code in one of the popular programming languages.
- Experience using LLM/AI tools in work.
- Experience implementing chatbots or AI solutions connected to internal databases and knowledge bases.
Will be a disadvantage if the candidate:
- interacted with the business exclusively through a Product Owner;
- practically did not participate in the selection of implementation options and technical solutions;
- performed only a narrow part of the analysis without supporting the task to completion.
