🚀 DreamVR studio is looking for an engineer who can independently turn product tasks into working systems.
The role involves full responsibility for the outcome: understanding the task, defining requirements, designing the solution, implementing it, releasing it to production, and evaluating the result.
The number of years of experience and the specific stack are secondary for us. More important are the level of engineering thinking, implemented projects, and the ability to quickly learn new areas.
✅ What you will be doing:
• Working from task to result. Understand the context, define readiness criteria, choose a solution, implement it, and verify the result after launch. • Independently concretize requirements. The product goal and expected outcome are defined. The engineer independently translates them into requirements, constraints, architecture, and an implementation plan. • Make engineering decisions. Choose approaches, technologies, and architecture based on the task. Be able to justify key decisions and understand their consequences. • Work with AI agents as the primary development tool. Decompose tasks, form context, set constraints, parallelize work, and verify results. • Understand the entire system being created. Understand the code, architecture, data, infrastructure, and integrations as deeply as the task requires. • Quickly master new areas. Unfamiliar stacks, technologies, or subject areas should not significantly slow down work. • Notice opportunities for improvement. Identify technical and product issues, assess their significance, and bring beneficial changes to completion.
✅ What we expect:
• You have created real systems or products and can describe your role in them in detail. • Capable of independently managing a task from conception to production. • Able to design systems and make technical decisions. • Regularly use AI agents in development. • Understand the code and architecture created with the help of AI. • Able to verify the results of agent work and find errors in their decisions. • Quickly understand unfamiliar code, technologies, and subject areas. • You have a strong engineering or mathematical foundation.
✅ What is particularly interesting:
Personal projects, open-source, product or entrepreneurial experience.
Projects where you independently defined the solution, built the system, and were responsible for its development are especially valuable.
Experience in creating your own infrastructure for AI development that allowed you to become better than other developers in some aspect is of interest.
This role is unlikely to be a good fit if:
• You need a detailed technical plan before starting work. • You prefer to work only within a single technological layer. • AI is used mainly for isolated questions or autocomplete. • You are not ready to take responsibility for decisions proposed by AI. • You are more comfortable implementing an already designed solution than designing it yourself.

✅ How to apply:
Send what best showcases your level: a working product, GitHub, open-source project, pet project, or your own business.
Resumes can be attached if they help understand your experience.
