EmTalk – a startup of 25+ enthusiasts. We are creating an ecosystem of products that help people maintain a balance between work and personal life.

The team already includes Android developers, backend, designers, analysts, and DevOps. Currently, we lack someone with an iOS background who wants to develop in the direction of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Compose Multiplatform (CMP) and help us build a cross-platform architecture.

At this stage, we cannot offer material compensation, we simply lack resources, the entire team works on a similar basis. We cannot guarantee anything or make promises. Even in case of success, the transition to commercial terms will be gradual.

About the project

We are developing B2C and B2B2C products for the Western market in the areas of mental health, mindfulness, and self-development.

Two are already in open testing in Google Play:

Currently, the applications are written for Android (Jetpack Compose), and the next step is the transition to KMP / CMP and release on iOS with a shared codebase.

What you'll be doing

• Develop mobile applications (Android / iOS);
• Work with API and the backend team;
• Participate in architecture design;
• Help prepare the codebase for the multi-platform transition;
• Participate in developing the iOS direction;
• Work closely with design and product.

Stack:

A person with experience in:

Kotlin / Swift / Jetpack Compose / SwiftUI / REST API / Firebase / Git (Forgejo) / DI: Hilt / Koin / Architecture: MVI (Orbit), KMP/CMP

And also:

• with interest in KMP / CMP
• desire to participate in cross-platform development
• calm attitude towards the startup format

Who we are looking for:

A developer who:

• speaks Russian (for communication within the team);
• has experience in iOS or Android;
• is interested in cross-platform development;
• wants to participate in developing the architecture, not just writing features;
• is comfortable with the startup format.

Participation format

• 8–15 hours per week
• Asynchronous work
• 3 short calls per week
• Fully distributed team
