Manual QA Engineer
📍 Limassol, Cyprus | Office | €3,000–3,500 net
Please note: we are only considering candidates who already reside in Cyprus and are willing to work from the office in Limassol. Remote or hybrid formats, as well as relocation, are not provided for this position.
We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our product team and help maintain a high level of quality for our international product.
We need a specialist who enjoys diving into complex scenarios, can identify the root causes of problems, is not afraid to ask questions, and wants to influence not only the product quality but also the development of testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing of the web application.
- Verify product performance on desktop and mobile devices.
- Test REST API using Postman or similar tools.
- Analyze network traffic and investigate application behavior using Charles Proxy (or Proxyman) and Chrome DevTools.
- Create clear and reproducible bug reports, participate in analyzing the causes of defects with the development team.
- Work with SQL to verify data correctness.
- Analyze requirements and participate in discussions of new tasks even before development begins.
- Participate in release preparation and incident analysis in production.
- Propose ideas for improving testing processes and product quality.
We Expect
- 4+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA.
- Experience testing REST API.
- Proficient with Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with Charles Proxy or Proxyman.
- Good knowledge of Chrome DevTools.
- Proficient in SQL (JOIN, GROUP BY, subqueries).
- Understanding of client-server application interaction principles.
- Practical experience using AI tools in daily work.
Will Be a Plus
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Test automation skills.
- Understanding of CI/CD.
- Experience with microservice architecture.
- Docker.
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring systems.
- Experience testing high-load systems.
