System Analyst

About the Department

We are developing Sberbank's management reporting system. This is a compilation of all financial information on products and services within Sberbank Group, used for managing the group, planning and forecasting financial results, and making significant decisions by the Bank's management. Approximately 300 people (MIS CHANGE tribe) are involved in system development, working according to the Agile methodology (Sbergile). The system belongs to the DWH (Data Warehouse) and DSS (Decision Support Systems) classes.

About the Team

The Softorama team addresses the challenges of centralized architectural control of the system, managing the development process methodology, and its automation (DEVOPS).

Position

System Analyst.

The main job is to control decisions designed by application teams for compliance with architectural concepts and the quality use of shared components. This includes training application developers/analysts.

Responsibilities

· Approval of architectural specifications from application teams

· Tracking and controlling the closure of architectural technical debt

· Assisting in the development of architectural specifications and training application analysts

· Maintaining architectural metadata

· Keeping system-wide architectural documentation up-to-date

· Participating in architectural decision-making

· Participating in setting tasks for DEVOPS engineers

· Participating in setting tasks for developers of system-wide components and frameworks

· Releasing and defending system releases with "framework" objects (databases, schemas, technological user accounts, transport system routes)

Requirements

· System Analyst experience of 3+ years

· Systemic view / Structural logic

· Ability to articulate thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing

· Knowledge of relational database theory

· Ability to design relational database structure

· Basic familiarity with SQL (SELECT, JOIN)

· Higher education (mathematics, technical, IT)

· Experience as a system analyst, developer, or tester

· Experience writing specifications for developers: ToR, Functional Requirements

· Experience in analyzing/developing documentation for large software systems

· Experience in designing/developing/documenting web services
