Senior Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin, Quantum Computing)

Location: Remote (Global, excluding Russia) or Onsite in Tel Aviv, Israel.

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services for a flagship quantum computing product.
• Build and maintain high-load, highly concurrent cloud-based microservices.
• Implement reactive programming patterns to ensure system scalability.
• Collaborate with a mixed international development team.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for enterprise-grade systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Strong proficiency in multithreading and Linux environments.
• Solid experience with microservices architecture and high-load systems.
• English proficiency: B2+ required for meetings and interviews.
• Must be based outside of Russia for remote roles.

Nice to have

• Experience with network or storage appliances.
• Knowledge of Python and gRPC.
• Background in Monitoring and Control Systems.
