Studio Skarab is looking for a Freelance Social Media Assistant to join our growing team, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and team fit.

We’re a boutique creative and media agency working across fashion, lifestyle, food, and styling, building everything from social strategies and commercial campaigns to productions, brand identities, and creative direction.

We believe great marketing goes beyond simply posting content. It requires intention, cultural awareness, and an exceptional eye for aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Design daily social media graphics, reels, and stories using Canva. • Plan, manage, and maintain content calendars across multiple client accounts. • Write captions and adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Channels, and other platforms. • Schedule content, coordinate approvals, and ensure deadlines are consistently met. • Assist on creative shoots and help develop UGC concepts. • Stay on top of TikTok and emerging platform trends. • Support community management and audience engagement. • Collaborate with the team on campaigns, creative concepts, and social strategies. • Remain responsive to client requests and fast-moving priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.

Requirements

• Advanced Canva skills. • Experience managing social media across multiple platforms. • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Previous experience working with premium or luxury clientele is essential. • Experience within the fashion, lifestyle, food, or styling industries is highly preferred. • A background in PR, communications, or influencer relations is a strong advantage. • A portfolio that demonstrates a refined aesthetic and thoughtful creative execution. • Must be based in the UAE and available to travel for content shoots, client meetings, and brand activations when required.
