Video Editor
Next Genium is looking for a video editor for regular work with short videos for gaming and media projects.
Responsibilities:
- Duration of each video: 1-3 minutes
- Titling, color correction, effect selection
- Designing cover art, exporting for different platforms
- Interacting with the team and accepting feedback on tasks
Requirements:
Technical:
- A computer with a graphics card around the level of RTX 3070 (recording game footage, working with local neural networks if necessary).
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro. Knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
- Having a gamepad for recording smooth gameplay footage is a plus.
Other:
- Basic understanding of how lighting works in a scene (rim light, key light, fill light, etc.)
- Basic understanding of framing a shot in a scene.
- Willingness to create videos based on tasks, but with a strong emphasis on process independence
- Understanding how cinematic quality is built into a video/scene (e.g., game trailers)
- Ability to work with Epidemic Sound/ArtList for music selection.
- Ability to select and use SFX during video creation.
- Experience in writing scripts for vertical/horizontal videos for social media will be a plus.
- The ability to use neural networks for generating ideas (not final results), videos, and images for use during editing, if necessary, will be a plus.
