About the Role** Spotware Systems is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our product engineering team in Limassol, Cyprus, or work remotely. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will be involved in functional and non-functional testing, test automation, performance validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of QA processes across complex backend systems. Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies.
• Perform manual and automated functional and non-functional testing.
• Identify, investigate, document, and track software defects, providing clear root cause analysis and working closely with developers on resolution.
• Maintain and improve test environments to ensure stable and efficient test execution.
• Design, execute, and optimize test strategies for complex, high-availability backend systems.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality standards across automated tests and production code.
• Continuously improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and automation practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, primarily working with backend applications.
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting Java applications.
• Proficiency in Java for developing and maintaining automated tests.
