🚀 QA Automation Engineer (FinTech)

📍 FinTech Product Company 💰** Salary: €5,000 net**

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of modern payment solutions in a fast-growing FinTech environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test coverage across backend and API-driven systems, with a strong focus on payment flows. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to improve product quality, strengthen release confidence, and enhance QA processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing • Strong experience with JavaScript or Python • Hands-on experience with Playwright (automation framework) • Experience in the FinTech domain (required) • Strong expertise in backend/API testing (Postman, Swagger) • Experience with log analysis tools such as Grafana and Kibana • Experience working with QA automation frameworks and test automation practices • Solid understanding of STLC and QA methodologies • Experience creating and maintaining test documentation

Nice to Have

• Experience with payment systems and payment provider integrations • Experience testing gRPC services and event-driven architectures • Product mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites • Perform functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing • Execute end-to-end payment provider integration testing • Improve QA processes, testing strategies, and documentation • Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to improve product quality • Triage bugs and support release testing activities • Investigate and debug complex production issues
