Salary by agreement
Experience from 4 years
Hi 👋
I’m Sasha Stolyarov, CPO of ggsel.
A little about us: ggsel is a marketplace for digital goods. Since 2017, we've been among the top platforms in the CIS. Over 6 million users choose us monthly for the best prices and quality support, and over the past year, we've grown 4 times. Our goal is not just to maintain our position, but to revolutionize the digital goods market and become a leader in digital commerce, including in the international market. We are betting on a product approach, data, and strong people – our team already includes individuals from Dodo, Yandex.Market, Samokat, Avito.
The product is growing, and to support this growth, we are looking for a senior product manager for customer experience who will take ownership of one of the key product development areas and drive it forward themselves – through hypotheses, research, and measured results.
To be upfront: this is a role with significant responsibility and high expectations. We expect autonomy and results, not just project execution. But there is also a lot of freedom here.
What you will do
- Own the product area end-to-end. Generate the development strategy for the area and implement it, being responsible for the overall result, not just individual features.
- Find growth opportunities yourself. Generate ideas through research and data, and constantly launch hypotheses with verification and effect assessment.
- Drive key metrics. Currently, the key metrics in customer experience are conversion to purchase and customer retention.
- Work closely with commerce and marketing. Translate their goals into product solutions, rather than just fulfilling requests.
- Be honest in product decisions. If a hypothesis doesn't work out, pivot or kill it without regret, and be comfortable with the fact that some ideas won't succeed.
- Formulate priorities and roadmap in conjunction with design, analytics, research, and development.
What is important to us
- You have worked as a product manager for 3–4 years or more and owned a product or area with measurable results.
- Strong metrics and experimentation skills. You know how to define a metric, build hypotheses, run A/B tests, and interpret analytics. You have experience with qualitative research – through it, you identify key customer problems and jobs-to-be-done (JTBD).
- Discovery as a core principle: research and hypothesis validation before implementation, not "features for the sake of features".
- Experience in B2C / marketplace / e-com.
- Experience working closely with commerce or marketing as key stakeholders – maintaining a product-centric stance, not just taking requests.
- Autonomous: you drive from problem to result, not waiting for task assignments. You prefer a product approach over a project approach.
Will be a plus: applying AI to accelerate work and quickly build prototypes yourself; launching a new area or product from scratch; broad market awareness – learning from the market and bringing in external practices.
Why it will be interesting
- Real impact. You will drive key metrics and shape the future of the product, not just close someone else's backlog.
- Freedom and trust. Minimal bureaucracy, maximum autonomy, making decisions based on hypotheses, not annual approvals.
- Strong team. People who take responsibility and enjoy being challenged.
- Growth alongside the product. We are growing exponentially – there is room for you to grow too.
What we offer
- Full remote work and flexible schedule. Offline team meetups happen occasionally (mainly in Moscow), which you can attend.
- Compensation tailored to your level. Discussed individually after the initial meeting.
- Performance reviews twice a year. Transparent bonuses for results.
- Payment for training, courses, and conferences.
Join us if this sounds like you:
- You owned a product and drove metrics yourself, not just maintained a backlog;
- You live by hypotheses and experiments, not a three-month project roadmap;
- You know how to work with commerce and marketing and maintain a product-centric position.
