Lead Designer / Design Team Lead

Format: Full-time, 5/2, office Location: Cyprus, Limassol

We are looking for a strong Lead Designer / Design Team Lead who can simultaneously develop the company's design direction, manage the team, and independently handle key design tasks. We are considering not only candidates with formal experience as a Lead Designer but also Senior Designers with actual management experience, as well as Team Leads who are ready to combine team management with hands-on work.

Responsibilities Manage the design team and organize its work. Distribute tasks considering designers' competencies and workload. Set tasks, monitor deadlines, quality, and results. Prioritize design tasks in collaboration with other departments. Conduct design reviews and perform final quality control. Provide constructive feedback and develop designers. Form and develop the visual direction of the company and products. Participate in the launch of new products and directions: concept, identity, brand book, visual guidelines. Independently handle key and complex design tasks. Create landing pages, web/UI design, advertising creatives, and graphic materials. Interact with marketing, SMM, product, development, and other teams. Control the full design production cycle — from task assignment to the final result. Implement AI tools and modern approaches into design processes. Form and maintain design systems and unified visual standards.

Requirements 4+ years of design experience. Experience as a Lead Designer / Design Team Lead or equivalent management experience. Senior Designers with experience in mentoring, task distribution, conducting reviews, and team coordination are also considered. Strong hands-on level and readiness to work on design independently. Proficient in Figma. Experience in creating brands and identities from scratch. Experience in developing brand books and visual guidelines. Strong skills in Graphic Design + Web/UI Design. Experience in designing landing pages and digital products. Good understanding of UX/UI, composition, typography, color, and visual hierarchy. Ability to manage team workload and effectively distribute tasks. Strong hard and soft skills. Ability to provide constructive feedback and develop employees. AI-first approach and practical experience with Claude, Nano Banana, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Gemini, and other AI tools. Independence, systematic approach, and responsibility for the final result.

Who we are especially interested in Lead Designer / Design Team Lead with a strong hands-on level. Senior Designer who has previously managed designers, distributed tasks, conducted reviews, and was responsible for the team's results. Team Lead ready to combine people management with independent execution of complex design tasks. We value not so much the formal title in the previous company, but the combination of strong design + management experience + ability to independently deliver tasks to completion.
