Vacancy: Long-form Content Author Company: FunFarm / FirstFund Format: Remote

We are looking for long-form content authors who will help us systematically talk about how the fund is developing: from product updates to people stories and industry analytics. We need not just a copywriter, but an author who immerses themselves in processes, understands the context, and knows how to turn internal processes into meaningful and interesting material.

We have several content areas. You can choose the one you are comfortable with — based on your experience and interests.

1. Product Long-form Content

• Track updates in our IT infrastructure.
• Identify news leads in discussions.
• Understand the logic behind changes: why they are made, what problem they solve.
• Communicate with product managers, heads of departments, and executors.
• Write detailed explanatory materials (sometimes even before release).

2. Biographies and Stories

• Write profiles of players and employees.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and structure them into coherent texts.
• Work with open sources and internal data.

3. Analytics and Industry Texts

• Follow news in the poker industry.
• Work with English-language and (basic) Spanish-language sources.
• Prepare analytical materials, event reviews, and trend analyses.
• Understand the difference between news and a news lead, and when a format requires depth rather than a short note.

We need someone who:

• Can write engagingly, structurally, and without unnecessary words.
• Explains complex things in simple language.
• Understands cause-and-effect relationships and can convey them.
• Knows how to ask precise questions and quickly get up to speed on a topic.
• Sees a news lead where others see just a discussion.
• Differentiates journalism from retelling, and a Telegram post from a full-fledged article.

Work Format:

• Remote.
• Flexible schedule, but it's important to be involved in the processes.
• Combining with other work is unlikely due to the level of involvement required.
• Payment is discussed individually after the interview.

There will be a small test assignment at the final stage.
