C++ Developer for YT Flow

We need to react quickly to various events: changes in product prices, new user signals for recommendations, processing a purchase event exactly once. We want changes in product logic to be implemented easily and safely, and issues in the system to be easy to diagnose. All these are tasks for the YT Flow team – we strive to improve the experience for users of our framework.

What tasks await you

Feature Development You will develop new features for YT Flow in C++ (90%) and Python (10%), optimize event processing, improve APIs, and work with the YTsaurus database.

User Support You will help new users launch pipelines, fix bugs, and add new functionality so that Yandex services get the maximum benefit from using YT Flow.

Code Testing You will write unit tests, integration tests, and stress tests for existing and new code.

Studying Existing Solutions You will read publications, watch talks, and study code to understand how Google Dataflow, Apache Flink, and other systems are built.

We expect you

• Have solid C++ knowledge
• Know classic algorithms and data structures
• Know concurrency
• Can quickly bring new features to production use

Will be a plus

• Experience with streaming event processing
• Experience with high-load databases
• Know Python
• Familiar with Linux
