Freelance Conversational UX Designer

Role Description This is a remote freelance contract role for a Conversational UX Designer. The designer will develop, design, and optimize conversation flows for applications, chatbots, and voice assistants to create user-friendly and engaging conversational interfaces. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, creating prototypes, and iterating on designs based on user feedback. The designer will also ensure the implementation of best practices in conversational design and contribute to the overall improvement of user experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in conversational UX design, creating chatbot behavior flows, and designing conversational interfaces
• Strong user research, user testing, and prototyping skills
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools
• Knowledge of AI, natural language processing (NLP), and voice user interface (VUI) principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects effectively
• Bonus: Familiarity with JavaScript or any development tools and prior experience in design systems
• Relevant degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience
