A fintech company is looking for a Manual QA Engineer, Middle+ level
✔️ knowledge of testing theory and software development processes ✔️ plan testing ✔️ create test cases and scenarios ✔️ perform manual testing ✔️ analyze the test model and functional coverage level with tests ✔️ estimate task complexity ✔️ find, monitor, and log defects in bug trackers ✔️ knowledge of REST (SOAP). API testing experience ✔️ knowledge and understanding of test design techniques ✔️ ability to create test documentation ✔️ experience analyzing logs ✔️ experience with databases and writing SQL queries ✔️ experience with caches and message brokers (redis, kafka, etc.) ✔️ experience with Postman
— Testing backend services and integrations — Participation in regression, releases, defect analysis on test stands — API testing (REST): status codes, response schema, negative and boundary cases — Understanding HTTP, JSON/XML, authorization (tokens, headers) — Writing and maintaining test cases, checklists, bug reports — Checking logs and diagnosing defects (Kibana/Splunk or similar) — Basic SQL: SELECT, JOIN, data verification in the database — Experience with Postman/Insomnia, Swagger/OpenAPI — Understanding of microservice architecture and asynchronous integrations — Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ: publishing/reading messages, verifying processing
