HolyPoly is looking for a 3D Asset Quality Specialist in Astana.
The role involves in-depth work with ready-made 3D models and active participation in the production process, rather than formal testing.
The specialist will closely interact with the 3D artist team, participate in asset quality control, and ensure models comply with pipeline requirements and the game engine.

Responsibilities
— Checking finished 3D models in Maya and the proprietary SCS Software engine to identify technical errors — Analyzing asset quality considering pipeline requirements, engine limitations, and performance — Creating and developing checklists based on typical and non-standard errors — Preparing structured bug reports and providing technical feedback to 3D artists — Interacting with the team and Team Lead on quality and bug fix issues — Participating in analyzing contentious points and discussing correct technical solutions — Monitoring compliance with pipeline limitations and engine requirements — Overseeing the process of fixing identified problems and re-checking assets
Requirements
— Solid understanding of basic 3D modeling principles (geometry, UVs, scaling, optimization) — Ability to independently analyze asset quality and identify problem areas — Ability to work within the technical and time constraints of the production process — Developed visual acuity and interest in improving the quality of 3D content — Skills in constructive communication with artists and teamwork — Willingness to work from the office in Astana
Will be a big plus
— Experience in a role related to checking, preparing, or quality control of 3D assets — English language proficiency sufficient for communication with an international team
