SDET Python (KATA NTA)

We are looking for a test automation engineer for the product development team for network monitoring. Our KATA product - Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform, specifically the NDR – Network Detection and Response component.

We provide protection for the enterprise internal network. The NDR class solution allows clients to visualize the network state, understand what is happening in the network, and enables incident response investigations. The development team faces a full spectrum of tasks, from parsing network packets to working with DBMS, building external APIs, and WebUI. We are looking for people experienced in developing high-performance, high-load, and fault-tolerant solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and maintaining an automated test framework in Python (PyTest);
• Ensuring the test part of CI/CD;
• Performing functional and integration testing;
• Designing test environments and test infrastructure (both physical and virtual);
• Working with requirements, test design, and documentation of test cases, test plans;
• Running automated tests, analyzing results, registering detected defects.

We expect:

• Experience in developing/debugging Python programs using OOP, knowledge of standard libraries;
• PyTest development experience;
• Playwright experience;
• Knowledge of testing theory;
• Basic knowledge of networks, network protocols, routing (TCP/IP stack);
• Basic knowledge of Linux OS architecture (we use Ubuntu and Astra);
• Skills in systematizing and identifying the root cause of defects;
• Experience in independent and team planning, task detailing.

A plus would be:

• Web services testing experience;
• PostgreSQL experience;
• Git experience;
• Basic SQL knowledge;
• Docker experience;
• Experience with Linux and network installation, configuration, and administration.
