DatsTeam is a group of companies that has been developing its own products since 2012: advertising and gaming platforms, mobile applications, payment solutions. Our product development cluster has over 300 developers in distributed teams across different cities in Russia, the CIS, and the EU.
We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design and develop the backend part of the product, build reliable services, and work at the intersection of fintech and blockchain.
What you will be doing
- Developing and evolving backend services in Java / Spring.
- Designing and maintaining a microservice architecture.
- Working with integrations of blockchain networks and smart contracts.
- Building and maintaining APIs for the client application, internal tools, and integrations.
- Working with Kafka, PostgreSQL, queues, events, and high-load processes.
- Participating in architectural decision-making and improving the product's technical landscape.
- Ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of services.
- Participating in code reviews, sharing experience with the team, and helping to strengthen engineering practices.
What we expect
- Solid backend development experience in Java.
- Good knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
- Experience working with microservices.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL and Apache Kafka.
- Experience working with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of the principles of building reliable and secure backend systems.
- Conversational English.
- Experience in fintech, blockchain / Web3, as well as an understanding of compliance and regulated environments, will be a plus.
Will be especially useful
- Experience integrating blockchain solutions into production.
- Understanding of smart contracts and Web3 infrastructure.
- Experience working with financial or highly regulated products.
