We are looking for a Linux System Engineer (Astra Linux) for project-based employment.

Grade: Middle/Middle+ Rate: from 176K to 193K Citizenship/Location: Russian Federation, Moscow, Nagatinskaya metro station ❗️Hybrid (1-2 months office, then remote)❗️ Workload: full-time Term: long-term Employment: only Individual Entrepreneur (not socially protected, not labor contract)

Project A specialist is required for the integration of Astra Linux with the operating system of Chinese equipment. The work involves ensuring system compatibility and configuring interaction at the Linux kernel level. Important: driver development is not required.

Required:

• Experience as a Linux System Engineer;
• Deep knowledge of Linux and kernel operating principles;
• Practical experience in administering Astra Linux;
• Experience in configuring and supporting Linux systems;
• Understanding of Linux architecture and OS component interaction;
• Proficiency in AI.

Desired:

• Experience with domestic Linux distributions (Astra Linux, ALT Linux, RED OS, etc.);
• Experience integrating Linux with industrial or specialized equipment;
• Skills in diagnosing and resolving compatibility issues between the OS and hardware.

Tasks:

• Configuration and administration of Astra Linux;
• Working with operating system components at the Linux kernel level;
• Configuring the interaction of Astra Linux with the equipment's operating system;
• Analysis and elimination of compatibility problems;
• Configuration of the system environment for correct equipment operation.
