We are looking for a Middle engineer to develop mobile automation (iOS/Android). You will write and maintain autotests, work with test farms, CI/CD, and gradually grow to a senior level. The stack includes Appium or native frameworks. There is an opportunity to master AI tools for automation.
Responsibilities
- Development and support of autotests for iOS and Android under the guidance of a senior.
- Running tests on device test farms and analyzing results.
- Support of test stands and CI/CD pipelines (basic setup).
- Localization and fixing of flaky tests.
- Participation in code reviews and development of test documentation.
- Mentoring interns and juniors, conducting small technical sessions.
- Interaction with the development team to clarify application requirements and logic.
Requirements
- QA Automation / Mobile SDET experience of 3+ years (including at least 1 year in a middle role).
- Experience in developing and supporting mobile automation for iOS and Android.
- Practical experience in iOS and Android automation (Appium / XCUITest / Espresso), Androidx.compose.ui.
- Experience working with mobile device test farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Basic experience with test stands (local runs, understanding Docker).
- Ability to work with CI/CD pipelines (running tests, working with reports).
- Proficiency in one of the languages: Kotlin / Swift.
- Willingness to mentor interns and juniors.
Will be a plus
- Experience with LLMs and Vibe Coding (ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor) for writing autotests.
- Experience with React Native / Flutter.
- Experience in mobile application load testing (basic level).
- Experience working in product teams (fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces).
- Participation in relevant meetups or writing articles.
