❗ VACANCY! Head of R&D (Mining and Metallurgical Complex, Kazakhstan)

We are looking for a leader who can turn scientific developments into real production results. This is a role at the intersection of science, technology, and industry: from idea — to implementation and economic effect.

Role Objective To build and manage an R&D system that delivers measurable business results: cost reduction, efficiency increase, new technology implementation.

Responsibilities — Manage the full R&D cycle: initiative → pilot → implementation — Manage a project portfolio (mining, beneficiation, metallurgy) — Work with production: identify bottlenecks and implement solutions — Implement Lean / process optimization tools — Manage contractors, research institutes, and contracts — Ensure economic effect (ROI, cost reduction) — Build intellectual property and commercialization processes — Form and develop a team

Requirements — 5+ years of experience in the mining and metallurgical complex — Proven experience in implementing R&D in industry (mandatory) — Experience in R&D / scientific environment — Project and team management experience — Fluent English (mandatory)

Will be an advantage — PhD / Candidate of Sciences — Experience working with universities and research centers — Lean / Kaizen — Experience working with contractors and contracts
