Mindia KZ is developing a product for the construction industry. We are looking for a technical leader who will take charge of the development team, personally write code, and implement AI approaches in the product and engineers' work.
40–60% of working time is dedicated to personal development: implementing functionality, testing, solving complex technical challenges, and releasing changes. The remaining time is for technical leadership, product work, and team development.
Mandatory Requirements
- Real team lead experience. You have already managed a development team, distributed tasks and responsibilities, made technical decisions, developed engineers, and were responsible for the team's results.
- Experience in bringing a product from scratch to industrial operation and its further support. You participated in product creation, launched it for real users, and were responsible for stable operation, issue resolution, and post-launch development.
- Strong up-to-date engineering practice. You regularly work with production code, can explain your own solutions in detail, and can independently resolve complex technical issues.
- Understanding of application architecture, APIs, data, security, and operations.
- Practical experience in creating and launching solutions based on LLMs: working with context, knowledge, tools, and AI agents. Understanding of model capabilities and limitations.
- Product mindset: the ability to understand user needs, prioritize, and deliver a task to a working result.
Deep proficiency in at least one industrial tech stack is mandatory. Matching all product technologies is not required.
What You Will Do
- Lead the development team: distribute responsibilities, conduct code reviews, participate in hiring and developing engineers.
- Personally develop key functionality and bring it to use by real users.
- Make architectural decisions considering reliability, security, performance, and cost.
- Build collaborative work between engineers and AI agents: context preparation, task distribution, and result verification.
- Develop AI functionality of the product, check its quality and user value, identify regressions.
- Ensure stable product operation after release and resolve operational issues.
Experience with B2B products, enterprise integrations, CAD, BIM, or digital solutions for the construction industry will be a plus.
