QA Middle Engineer (Manual + Automation)

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Development and testing of SMPLT — an MVNO provisioning platform within the infrastructure of a major telecom company. The team works according to Agile, with 2-week sprints; all work is tracked and documented in Jira.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Functional and regression testing of microservices-based web applications and services • Automation of API/backend systems testing (support and development of automated tests) • Creation and maintenance of test cases, recording results and task statuses in Jira • Checking integrations and contracts (REST/SOAP) • Participation in validating delivery results • Working within CI/CD processes • Interaction with development and analytics teams

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2+ years of experience testing microservices applications/services
2. 2–3 years of test automation experience (API/backend)
3. Knowledge of testing theory
4. Knowledge of one of the languages: Java/Kotlin/Python
5. Experience with Cucumber, Zephyr
6. Understanding of OOP principles
7. Experience with REST / SOAP
8. Experience with CI/CD, Git
9. Understanding of distributed systems architecture
10. Experience working in a telecom company
