QA Intern for the Garnet product development team (B2B subscriber sales and connection system). Manual testing and gradual automation learning in Python.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of the product (UI and integration)
- Test REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools
- Work with databases: write simple SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN)
- Maintain test documentation and create bug reports in Jira
- Use browser DevTools (Network, Console, Elements tabs)
- Interact with the development team, analysts, and designers
- Gradually learn test automation in Python
- Independently study documentation and come with prepared questions
Requirements:
- 3rd–4th year undergraduate students, master's students, or PhD students
- Understanding of testing theory fundamentals and ability to apply them in practice
- Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS), status codes, and HTTP request structure
- Experience in manual REST API testing and working with API clients
- Basic SQL knowledge: ability to write SELECT queries and understand JOIN
- Proficiency with browser DevTools
- Basic knowledge of any programming language (Python preferred)
- Ability to create bug reports (understanding of structure)
- Experience with Git version control systems
