Frontend Engineer — Teletype

Role: Frontend Engineer (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout: $60 - $110/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Frontend Engineer to work on a contract basis. This individual will play a critical role in developing scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript, contributing to the training of next-generation AI systems. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input in the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability to guarantee optimal performance.
• Implement best practices in frontend engineering, code reviews, and continuous integration to maintain high coding standards.
• Translate complex requirements into clean, efficient, and reusable code components to simplify development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is required, with a strong understanding of frontend engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with React is necessary, as well as a solid grasp of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential, with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to communicate clearly and proactively through written and verbal channels.
• A strong team player mentality is required, with a willingness to contribute to a strong team culture and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
