Required Skills & Qualifications

Core

• 15+ years total experience with at least 8+ years in backend engineering ( APIs, microservices, integration, distributed systems ).
• Strong technical background in Java based backend systems
• Solid understanding of cloud native architecture and AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret solution designs, technical specifications, and integration contracts.
• Proven experience managing medium to large programs with cross functional engineering teams.

Delivery Leadership

• Strong Agile/Scrum management experience.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering workflow tools.
• Strong grasp of Agile metrics (velocity, throughput, quality KPIs)

Soft Skills

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder handling, and expectation management.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes across globally distributed teams.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Node.js, microservices modernization, or experience guiding migrations.
• Knowledge of QA automation, performance testing tools, or observability stacks.
• Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments.
