MTS Bank is one of the key areas of the MTS ecosystem. We use modern digital solutions and develop technological banking services accessible to everyone. DevOps Engineer (Intern) is needed for the Data Tribe team. The internship track is designed for 6 months under a fixed-term employment contract, under the guidance of an experienced mentor.

Horizon DataPlatform, we provide tools for working with data:

• Data warehouse - Apache Ozone S3, Apache Iceberg
• Compute - Spark k8s, Apache Doris, Apache Flink, Trino, DolphinScheduler
• BI - Apache Superset
• Work environments - Hue, CloudDbeaver, JupiterHub

Stack:

Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, Gitlab, Linux, Java/Go, Ansible

You will be:

• implementing and supporting team enhancements
• automating routine and internal processes
• setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes
• configuring the monitoring system and developing response regulations
• ensuring the uninterrupted operation of services
• maintaining and updating documentation

Important for us:

• basic knowledge of DevOps practices
• presence of pet projects or DevOps courses
• knowledge of working with DevOps tools (Ansible, Gitlab, Kubectl)
• skills in k8s administration at the namespace level;
• skills in writing scripts in Bash or Python
• Linux administration skills
• knowledge of configuring monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana)
• knowledge of messaging broker principles (IBM MQ/ Kafka)
• ability to write SQL queries
