Mango FZCO has created and is developing the international product Windi Messenger - a next-generation intelligent messenger where communication and task management are combined in one space.
We are expanding the team and looking for a talented Senior Kotlin Developer to develop our Android application.
Tasks
- Development and improvement of the Windi application - a messenger you can be proud of and that even your friends and acquaintances can use.

- Designing the architecture of new features using MVVM and MVI patterns.
- Implementing an offline-first approach - users should be able to read messages, write, and manage tasks even without the internet.
- Optimizing messenger performance - message loading speed, smooth scrolling, battery saving.
- Code Review and participation in architectural decisions.
- Integration of real-time communications and push notifications.
Mandatory Requirements
- Android development experience: from 6 years.
- Kotlin: confident knowledge, understanding of coroutines and flow.
- Jetpack Compose: readiness to implement modern UI.
- Architectural patterns: practical experience with MVVM and MVI.
- Android Architecture Components: ViewModel, WorkManager, BroadcastReceiver.
- Reactive Programming: Kotlin Coroutines.
- Dependency Injection: Dagger 2/Hilt.
- Network work: Retrofit, OkHttp, error handling and offline mode.
- Database work: Room as the foundation of offline-first architecture, caching of messages and tasks.
Will be a big plus
- Experience in developing messengers or chats.
- Real-time communication experience: WebSocket, Socket.IO or similar.
- Performance optimization: profiling, working with large lists of messages.
- Offline-first approach: data synchronization, conflict resolution.
- Security: message encryption, secure data storage.
