Telegram is growing rapidly, including as an advertising platform. The market is completely new, with no clear leaders, and our startup is targeting a large part of it, including internationally. We have our own distributed infrastructure, which every second, using complex predictors, LLMs, and mathematics, selects the best ad for each channel. We solve very diverse problems, write distributed task graphs, real-time anti-fraud systems, predictors for optimal bids, scale infrastructure, etc.

The team is concentrated in Moscow, we have a startup-like atmosphere, every developer sees what's happening across the entire product and can help at any point in it. What tasks await you

Product Features, Ad Formats You will work on new ad formats (carousels, video, images, design), buttons on posts, brand safety, and many other product tasks.

Real-time Channel Scoring System Develop a streaming system that automatically monitors changes in channels (new posts, reactions, views) and analyzes text, understands how high-quality the content is, whether the channel is active, if the audience is active and solvent, calculates features for ranking.

Development, Acceptance, and Testing of Services Our runtime is growing, we need to understand how to test it, scale it, and where to invest so the business can grow exponentially.

We expect you to have

• Worked with Python, C++, and SQL
• Familiar with MapReduce
• Able to work effectively in a team and solve complex technical problems

It will be a plus if you

• Have worked as a tech lead
• Have been involved in designing the architecture of backend applications
• Quickly write good product or infrastructure code
• Are proactive: able to find tasks on your own, not just wait for a manager's go-ahead
