We are looking for an experienced Java / Kotlin Backend Developer to join a long-term international project.

📌 Project Details:

• Fully remote
• Project-based engagement with an hourly rate

• Can be combined with your current employment 🔥** EU citizenship is required**

✅ Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin
• Good knowledge of Spring Boot
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD
• English — B2+
• German — nice to have

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Kotlin
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices
• Participate in technical solution design
• Improve application performance and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and other project stakeholders
