Senior C++ Engineer

__tldr: 42 (ai research), Senior C++ Engineers, €80-140K+ / year, Amsterdam, relocation __ 42 - AI research lab, which develops an autonomous AI Scientist system capable of independently formulating hypotheses, conducting experiments, and finding solutions.

The lab's primary focus is on financial markets: the AI system operates as an autonomous trader, and the generated capital finances further research. In parallel, the lab conducts research in the fields of human biology, neurotechnology, and fundamental physics.

We are currently actively expanding our team and looking for specialists who are interested in building complex systems from scratch and solving problems at the intersection of AI, research, HFT, and low-level engineering.

We are in the stage of building trading from scratch. We are currently investing in technology and the team, with profitability planned for next year.

⚡ C++ Engineer We will be building the core of the trading system from scratch, where performance, predictability, and microseconds truly matter.

Basic requirements: C++ experience of 5+ years with high-load services, minimal trading experience, mathematical background

Responsibilities: • develop the core trading engine: event loop, scheduling, and execution flow • build internal data models for order books, trades, positions, and state transitions • optimize critical parts of the system: CPU cache, memory layout, branch prediction • first, launch the system on crypto - spot and perpetuals, and then expand to equities, futures, and options, maintaining unified abstractions.

💰 €80–140K+ / year 🕐 Full-time 📍 Amsterdam - first 3 months remotely, then the team helps with relocation.
