📌Tasks and responsibilities:

1. Language and frameworks:

• Kotlin (coroutines, suspend functions, asynchronous programming).
• Spring Boot (main stack) or Ktor (if the project uses it).
• Knowledge of Jackson/Kotlinx Serialization (for JSON).
• Java (desirable, as legacy code might be in it).

2. REST API:

• Experience in designing RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI, REST conventions).
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, response codes, HATEOAS (optional).
• Working with DTOs, validation (Jakarta Validation, Valid annotations).

3. Databases and caching:

• PostgreSQL (main DBMS, complex queries, indexes), Mongo (NoSQL).
• JPA/Hibernate or Exposed (if Ktor) + understanding of the N+1 problem.
• Redis (caching, Cacheable in Spring).

4. Testing:

• Unit/Integration tests (JUnit 5, Kotest, Mockk).
• Testcontainers (for integration tests with databases).

5. Infrastructure:

• Docker (building images).
• CI/CD (GitLab CI/GitHub Actions).
• Special requirements: Development/review/support of the codebase
