Kotlin backend developer
Location: Remote
Company: IceRock
Salary: from 200,000 to 260,000 RUB gross
Employment: Project-based with possible transition to full-time
Responsibilities:
- Development and support of the server-side of mobile and web applications in Java and Kotlin.
- Design and implementation of APIs for interaction with client applications.
- Working with Postgres databases.
- Performance optimization and ensuring the security of server solutions.
- Participation in application architecture design and implementation of best development practices.
- Estimation of labor costs in hours, code reviews.
- Participation in several projects in parallel (development + enhancements).
Requirements:
- Commercial development experience of 3+ years.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with Postgres databases and messaging systems (RabbitMQ will be a plus).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in designing and developing APIs.
- Understanding of reactive programming principles and working with Ktor web server.
- Ability to work with source code written by another developer.
- Experience working in outsourcing companies will be an advantage.
- Experience developing on macOS or Linux.
