A new position has opened up: Business Analyst (Product Discovery) The company is developing a fintech product in the area of credit processes, scoring, and decision-making. The team is strengthening the Product Discovery direction and is looking for a business analyst to help transform business problems into understandable processes, requirements, and solutions before development begins.

This role is not about sprint execution or supporting tasks in delivery. The main focus is on problem structuring, solution design, discovery documentation, and preparing high-quality requirements for handover to development teams.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who can analyze complex business tasks, describe AS-IS / TO-BE processes, design customer journeys, work with decision logic, and formulate clear functional / system requirements.

Key responsibilities: ▪️ Analyze and decompose business problems into understandable logical components. ▪️ Design and document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes. ▪️ Describe processes using BPMN, UML, decision trees, and other structural formats. ▪️ Propose improvements to customer journeys, credit processes, and decision-making logic. ▪️ Translate business processes into functional and system requirements. ▪️ Describe data requirements, integration requirements, and dependencies between systems. ▪️ Work through statuses, transitions, edge cases, API logic, and business rules. ▪️ Prepare structured discovery documentation for handover to delivery teams. ▪️ Coordinate solutions with Product Owners, Risk, Engineering, and Operations. ▪️ Assist the team in moving from an abstract business problem to a feasible system solution.

What is important: ▪️ 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst. ▪️ Experience in fintech, lending, credit risk, or related financial products. ▪️ Good understanding of credit processes, underwriting, scoring, and decision logic. ▪️ Ability to structure complex and abstract business tasks. ▪️ Experience in describing business processes, AS-IS / TO-BE flows, BPMN / UML. ▪️ Ability to formulate functional requirements and system requirements. ▪️ Understanding of data flows, integration logic, API dependencies, and edge cases. ▪️ Ability to think not only as a requirements analyst but also as a solution designer. ▪️ Ability to interact with Product, Risk, Engineering, and Operations. ▪️ Fluent Russian and English for working with the team and documentation. Will be a plus: ▪️ Experience in lending, BNPL, micro-lending, digital banking, or credit decisioning. ▪️ Experience with risk rules, scoring models, underwriting flows, or decision engines. ▪️ Understanding of KYC / AML, fraud checks, eligibility checks, and customer verification flows. ▪️ Experience describing API contracts, data mapping, status models, and transition logic. ▪️ Experience working in a Product Discovery team. ▪️ Ability to not just document requirements, but to propose improvements to processes and customer journeys. ▪️ Experience preparing documentation for handoff to delivery teams.
