An IT company specializing in high-tech solutions for the industrial sector is seeking a Graphic Designer.
For nearly 35 years, we have been developing digital solutions for the oil and gas and industrial sectors. Our approach is based on a combination of three areas: IT, applied engineering, and science. Our team includes not only programmers but also process engineers with real production line experience, as well as researchers collaborating with technical universities in Saint Petersburg.
Important: we are looking for not a generalist designer, but a specialist with expertise in print, promotional merchandise, and presentations, ready to manage projects from concept and prepress to the final product.
An integral part of our company's market interaction is participation in various industry events (over 30 per year!), as well as organizing our own annual industry event. Such activities require thorough preparation – from designing slides for presentations, developing POS materials and promotional merchandise, to working on the design of exhibition structures. If you have experience in packaging ideas into clear and concise presentations, understand printing technologies, and speak the same language as managers and technologists from printing houses – we are waiting for you in our team!
Your responsibilities will include:
Design and Prepress (main focus):
- Designing presentations for speeches within an established design system (in collaboration with speakers – product managers, technologists, and experts);
- Developing print layouts and their prepress preparation: brochures, leaflets, POS materials, stationery;
- Designing exhibition structures, promotional items, and merchandise (external and internal tasks);
- Selecting materials and application methods based on the media type, print run, and budget.
Operational Project Support:
- Searching for and interacting with contractors (maintaining a register, comparing quotes, monitoring deadlines and quality);
- Managing documentation (approving contracts, monitoring payments, acceptance certificates);
- Planning and organizing product shipments to partners and clients (delivery notes, acceptance certificates).
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design (not just freelance);
- A portfolio with commercial projects (primarily print-based);
- Practical experience interacting with printing houses and production contractors: understanding the specifics of working with various types of materials (paper, cardboard, plastic, fabric, etc.), printing methods (offset, digital, screen printing, UV printing, etc.), and prepress technologies;
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma (Pixso);
- A good sense of composition, knowledge of color theory and typography;
- Attention to detail and the ability to delve deeply into a task.
It will be an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in a full-cycle printing house;
- Experience working in a marketing agency with project management.
What we offer:
- Salary level to be discussed individually based on interview results;
- Interesting and ambitious tasks: a real opportunity to influence the visual identity of a leading industry company;
- Professional growth and communication: working on projects from concept to implementation, comprehensive mentoring from the lead designer;
- Voluntary medical insurance or sports compensation after the probationary period;
- Hybrid work format after the probationary period and the option for a flexible start to the workday;
- Corporate training programs, participation in conferences, online English courses for employees;
- A cozy office 7 minutes from the metro with a coffee point: excellent coffee and tea, fresh fruit, and healthy snacks.
P.S. We need to see examples of your projects, so please send a link to your portfolio in your cover letter, along with a brief comment on which projects best reflect your experience for this vacancy.
