Our Client, an accredited IT company (development of games for slot machines), is opening a vacancy for Tester
Responsibilities:
- Performing functional, regression, integration, load testing of slot machines
- Testing mathematical models, RNG, payouts, bonus mechanics
- Analyzing requirements and developing test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans)
- Interacting with developers, game designers, analysts
- Maintaining bug tracking, monitoring defect fixes
- Participating in acceptance testing
- Preparing reports on testing results
Requirements:
- Higher technical education
- At least 1 year of experience in manual software testing (preferably in game development, gambling industry, or related fields)
- Experience with Linux
- Understanding of game software testing principles (functionality, RNG, wagering, payouts, audio/visual effects)
- Experience with bug-tracking systems (Jira, Redmine, YouTrack, etc.)
- Ability to analyze requirements and write test documentation
- Experience interacting with developers, game designers, and analysts
- Basic SQL knowledge (checking data in the database)
- English language at Intermediate+ level (reading technical documentation, writing bug reports)
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge of slot machine specifics (mechanics, mathematical model, RTP)
- Automated testing skills (Python, JavaScript, Postman)
- Experience with slot machine simulators and test servers
