💻 Vacancy: Senior Linux Administrator 🎮 Company: Gaijin Entertainment 🌐 Format: Remote (outside of Russia/Belarus/EU/USA) Gaijin is the developer of AAA hits like War Thunder, Enlisted, and others. We are looking for a Senior Linux Administrator for our infrastructure team. This is not a build engineer position — your focus will be on server reliability, IaC, and automation around development.

🛠 Responsibilities: Administration: Linux infrastructure, services, network, incident diagnostics. IaC Migration: Participation in the transition from SaltStack to Ansible (designing a new platform from scratch). Build/Test Park: Support for 200+ nodes (Windows, Linux, macOS, GPU nodes) — responsibility for their availability and monitoring. Bare Metal & Storage: Working with physical servers, network equipment, iSCSI, LVM, Proxmox, and AWS. AI-assisted engineering: Using AI for code analysis, generating automations, and accelerating routine tasks.

🔍 Our Expectations: Linux administration experience of 5+ years. Deep knowledge of IaC (SaltStack, Ansible, or similar). Experience with hardware (bare metal, RAID, IPMI/iDRAC) and Storage (block devices, multipath). Understanding of networks (L2/L3, VPN, DNS, diagnostics via tcpdump/ip). Scripting skills in Python or Shell. Readiness to defend technical solutions with arguments and propose architectural improvements. Your location must be outside of Russia/Belarus/EU/USA.
