We are looking for a Senior DevOps / MLOps for the big language models and machine learning team at VICTORY IT. We will be building a distributed computing platform that will combine CPU/GPU and other computing resources into a unified infrastructure for ML tasks.
What you will be working on: • designing and building a distributed computing platform from scratch for ~1000 machines; • developing infrastructure on Kubernetes / Nomad for running and managing ML workloads; • working with GPU clusters and compute resources of various types — GPU, CPU, MPS; • developing distributed computing on Ray and infrastructure for distributed training; • automating deployment and execution of tasks, resource management and utilization; • focusing on scaling, performance, fault tolerance, CI/CD, and monitoring; • working closely with the ML team on infrastructure for training and running neural networks.
What we expect from the candidate: • 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps / MLOps / Platform Engineering; • proficient in Kubernetes and/or Nomad; • experience with large production clusters and distributed systems; • practical experience with GPU infrastructure; • understanding of neural network training and distributed training; • experience with Docker / Docker Registry, CI/CD, Linux, monitoring; • experience designing and building infrastructure from scratch. • experience with HPC, supercomputers, GPU farms, Ray, and large compute clusters will be a big plus.
PS: this is not classic DevOps focused on supporting existing infrastructure. Here you will have to build a distributed platform practically from scratch and work with GPU/ML at a large scale.
