About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Developer (AI Engineering) for the Xsolla Partner Network (XPN) team – a platform that connects game studios and publishers with content creators. The position involves participation in all stages of work on the automatic content generation system: from stabilizing the existing vertical video pipeline for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels to developing an agent architecture, launching virtual AI creators, and building analytics based on the results. Working in a team provides an opportunity to apply cutting-edge generative models and agent tools daily on a real production product, see the direct impact of your work on content metrics, and gain an inside understanding of the gaming industry, the creator economy, and game promotion through content. The developer will work with an existing system that has a live audience and measurable results, make independent technical decisions, develop expertise in generative AI, and take on the role of a technical project owner as it grows. What You Will Do

• Take over the existing pipeline for generating vertical videos (script → voiceover → visual → subtitles → editing → auto-posting → tracking links) for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels, understand it through documentation and code, and bring it to stable operation.
• Develop the pipeline: improve content quality and virality, increase generation volume, reduce cost and time per video.
• Keep track of new generation models and services (video, images, voice, LLM), quickly test them, and replace outdated pipeline links with higher quality or cheaper ones.
• Launch and develop the virtual AI creators direction: consistent character, voice, style, content plan.
• Design and improve agents: write and debug prompts and sub-agent roles, validation between phases, context and cost control.
• Build a dashboard for managing generation and content analytics (views, clicks, conversions, cost per video).
• Automate publishing: integrations with platforms, posting from mobile devices, scaling channels.
• Write clean, testable code with documentation, including unit and integration tests.

What We Expect

• Solid knowledge of Python, basic bash skills.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) and agent pipelines – a real project, pet project, or hackathon that can be shown and discussed.
• Experience working with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools as a development environment, not just as an autocompletion feature.
• Understanding of prompt engineering basics: agent role description, context limitation, stable structured output.
• Understanding of Git, team development, and Docker basics.
• Ability to work with REST APIs, webhooks, basic understanding of databases (SQL).
• Understanding of vertical content: games, creators, streams, TikToks, Shorts, how video discovery works, what shadow bans are, how mobile farms for posting are set up. It will be a big plus if this is a hobby: your own channel, editing, streaming, experimenting with AI generation.
• Ownership: the ability to take a task to completion without external supervision.
• Initiative: your own suggestions for pipeline improvements, new models, and automation – and the readiness to implement them independently.
• Ability to understand someone else's system through code and documentation, restore logic, and ask the right questions.
• Independence in technical decisions and openness in communication: report problems immediately.
• Product thinking: evaluate results by content metrics (views, retention, clicks) and cost per video.
• Ability to explain system capabilities and limitations to non-technical colleagues.
• Experimental approach: quickly test hypotheses and be ready to abandon what didn't work.
• Desire to grow with the project – from stabilizing the current pipeline to becoming its technical owner.
• English at the level of reading technical documentation (Intermediate+).

Will Be a Plus

• Experience with video and image generation via API (fal.ai, Kling, Runway, Seedance, Nano Banana, etc.), TTS, and speech recognition (Whisper and similar).
• ffmpeg: assembly, normalization, subtitles, overlays.
• Experience building reliable calls to paid APIs: retries, idempotency, cost accounting.
• n8n or other workflow tools.
• Telegram bots, YouTube / TikTok / Instagram / Discord APIs.
• Android / mobile device automation.
• Supabase or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GCP cloud, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Observability and monitoring (Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
• Own channel, pet projects, open-source experience, or participation in hackathons.
