About the company:

Far Eastern design institute "Vostokproektverf" is the basic territorial design organization for the construction of shipbuilding, ship repair, and machine-building enterprises in the Primorsky Krai. Currently, all areas of design, engineering surveys, and engineering services have been created at the institute. The company is engaged in the development of large industrial facilities in the regions of Russia. The institute has experienced specialists of various profiles on its staff who are capable of developing complex project documentation for the construction and reconstruction of facilities of various directions, a developed production base, modern computer equipment with licensed software products, and publishing equipment. The institute was founded in 1948. The first projects were carried out for "Dalzavod". Successfully coping with the tasks set, the Primorsky institute began to act as the general designer for the shipyards of the USSR Ministry of Shipbuilding and oversaw a total of 21 shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises. By the mid-1980s, the institute reached its peak, with 400 people working there. By order of the Ministry of Shipbuilding, it finally became independent and received the name DPI "Vostokproektverf". Since 2009, the institute has become part of the structure of the Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center. Today, "Vostokproektverf" carries out strategically important projects for Russia. The institute's team is replenished with young and ambitious specialists. "Vostokproektverf" continues to work as the general designer for JSC "DVZ "Zvezda", JSC "CSD", JSC "30 SRZ", JSC "82 SRZ". By providing these enterprises with design and technological documentation, the institute becomes part of the reviving and developing shipbuilding and ship repair industry of the Russian Federation.

Responsibilities:

1. Administration of server and network infrastructure:
   • Ensuring the uninterrupted operation and availability of all company IT services.
   • Installation, setup, and maintenance of active network equipment (corporate-level Wi-Fi) and server equipment.
   • Administration of server OS (Microsoft Windows, Linux).
   • Setup and administration of virtualization systems (Proxmox VE, Hyper-V).
   • Administration of data storage systems.
   • Setup and maintenance of PBX and video conferencing systems (VKS).
   • Administration of the email server cluster.
   • Configuration of group policies, separation of user access rights to network and internet resources.
2. Backup and monitoring:
   • Planning and execution of scheduled maintenance work.
   • Creation of backup schedules, checking backups for integrity, data recovery.
   • Implementation and administration of monitoring systems.
   • Troubleshooting and resolution of LAN faults.
3. Technical support and administration of corporate services:
   • Round-the-clock monitoring of the operability of critical services.
   • Daily creation of backups for critical services.
   • Interaction with the hosting provider and timely notification of the need to pay for domains/hosting.
   • Management of access rights to services, delimitation of employee powers.
   • Registration of domains and accounts for the legal entity.
   • Testing services after code changes.
   • Prompt response to failures: informing the supervisor, establishing the causes, restoring service operation, maintaining a failure report.
4. Documentation and management: Maintaining and updating technical documentation for computer networks, services, and equipment.

Requirements:

Higher professional (technical/IT preferred) education. Certificates confirming qualifications are welcome.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• TCP/IP protocol stack and OSI model (deep understanding).
• Experience in administering server OS: Microsoft Windows Server, Linux.
• Experience in configuring group policies (GPO).
• Experience with hypervisors: Proxmox VE, Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience in administering data storage systems (DSS).
• Experience in configuring corporate-level Wi-Fi equipment (Cisco, Aruba, MikroTik, etc.).
• Experience in administering email services (Exchange, Postfix, Sendmail, or similar).
• Experience in configuring IP telephony (Asterisk, 3CX, or Cisco Call Manager).
• Experience with backup systems (Veeam, Acronis, Commvault, or similar).
