QA Automation Engineer (Python)

We are an international fintech company looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help develop the automation of backend system testing.

🇨🇾 We will primarily communicate with candidates who are already in Cyprus.

📌 What you will do: • Develop and maintain autotests in Python using Pytest; • Automate backend system testing; • Support and develop the existing test infrastructure; • Work with SQL to verify data; • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD processes; • Participate in the development of testing processes and the implementation of new automation approaches.

✅ What is important to us: • 3+ years of commercial experience in test automation; • Solid experience in developing and maintaining autotests in Python + Pytest; • Practical experience in automating backend system testing; • Excellent knowledge of testing theory and the ability to apply it in practice; • Knowledge of SQL at the level of writing simple queries; • Understanding of CI/CD principles and the place of automated testing in the product development and delivery process.

⭐️ Will be a plus: • Experience with mock services or service virtualization tools; • Experience with Allure TestOps; • Experience in setting up and supporting tests in GitLab CI; • Experience in building testing processes and implementing automation in a team from scratch; • Experience and understanding of the payment process / Payment Gateway subject area; • Experience testing mobile applications.
