Test Tools - C++ Developer

☑️ Responsibilities
- Jointly with the team, develop, implement, and support testing solutions for LTE base stations
- Create additional tools useful in development (simulators, generators, utilities, etc.)
- Study the details and updates of 3GPP specifications
- Optimize code for the target platform, refine requirements for testing tools
- Collect various metrics to assess code performance
- Configure simulator/platform to achieve maximum product performance
- Develop/supplement/correct internal documentation for the developed product
- Fix defects (when they appear)
- Analyze code/participate in code discussions (both your own and colleagues')
☑️ Our requirements for candidates
- Knowledge of C++11/14/17/20 and experience using these languages for 3+ years
- Experience in software development for Linux OS
- Experience in implementing telecom protocols
- Must be familiar with classical algorithms and data structures
- Ability to independently solve complex problems in a new subject area
- Ability to work with documentation (primarily read and understand)
- Ability to debug your own (and others') code, as well as test it
- Experience in writing multithreaded and/or asynchronous programs
- Experience in optimizing/improving product performance
- Knowledge of networks based on TCP/IP
- Experience with embedded software and real-time systems
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab) and bug tracking (JIRA)
- Important to know English at the level of reading and writing technical documentation
- General knowledge of mobile telecommunication systems GSM/LTE/5G
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, Lua, etc.)
- Experience in code optimization (both platform-independent and hardware-specific)
- Experience in developing high-load systems
- Experience with tools for analyzing code/software performance (Intel VTune Profiler, Valgrind, perf, etc.)
- Experience in developing systems with load balancing
- Experience in code profiling
- Experience in applying various debugging/error diagnosis methods/tools
- Experience in system programming
- Experience with/understanding of Agile & Scrum
